  How you can help

Reach out a Hand

People use many different ways to support Child Haven International in its bid to assist women and children worldwide.

Some, like Heike Soeder (Germany) at right, elect to be a cultural intern at one of our homes; some choose to make a donation or sponsor a school student; others work with support groups to raise funds.

You can learn more about all these options by selecting from the menu bar at left, but first, continue reading below, to discover some of the interesting ways people contribute to Child Haven.

Special Contributions

  • A Daily Journal from Child Haven Nepal is an amazing fifty large-page account by Angie Kretzschmar, with 70 photos (37 in colour). Angie tells how it feels to be a 3-month Intern at Child Haven Nepal, with visits to our Tibet and Bangladesh Homes. To purchase, please send $10, payable to Child Haven. We'll pay taxes and postage to mail it to you. All proceeds to Child Haven.

  • Paula Duncan's "Great Divide Hike", a story of her 1200 km hike from Alberta to British Columbia, has so far garnered $3765 for Child Haven. She is a member of our Calgary Support Group. Her email is residentnomad@yahoo.com
